“Being a volunteer is a special privilege. To become a volunteer, a befriender, and a friend, someone to share a cuppa and a laugh with. I am proud to be a volunteer.”
“Volunteering with Happy at Home is so rewarding. I get the opportunity to enrich older people’s lives and listen to stories about their life. The person I visit is my 100-year-old friend with a personality of a 20-year-old!”
“I have been providing telephone support for four people and it has made me happy knowing that one little phone call can brighten someone’s day”
